CONDITIONS FOR DANCE SPORT BUSINESS

Organizations and individuals performing business in the field of sports need to meet all conditions and are only allowed to operate after completing licensing procedures according to regulations. Then, how are the conditions for dance sport business regulated?

1. Condition on legal status

Business entities in dance sports include Vietnamese enterprises, foreign invested enterprises (FDI), and business households that have been licensed according to regulations.

Therein, the subject must be granted investment certificate, registration certificate, business registration, business establishment license with business lines of dance sport business.

2. Conditions of facilities, training, competition and performance equipment

a. Facilities and training equipment of dance sport business

– The training floor has dimensions of at least 08m x 11m.

– The floor is flat, non-slip, the floor surface is paved with one of the following materials: Natural wood, industrial wood, ceramic tiles, marble.

– The distance from the floor to the lowest point on the ceiling or canopy is at least 2.8m.

– The sound system has an intensity of at least 90dBA or higher.

– Lighting for training should be at least 150lux or more.

– There are seating chairs and mirrors.

– There is a first aid kit according to regulations of the Ministry of Health.

– There are changing areas and toilets.

– There is a table of rules that includes the following main contents: Subjects participating in training, training clothes, training hours, safety measures when practicing.

b. Facilities and competition equipment of dance sport businesses

– Follow the provisions in section a.

– Lighting for competition should be at least 200 lux or more.

c. Facilities and performance equipment of dance sport business

– The distance from the floor to the lowest point on the ceiling or canopy is at least 2.8m.

– The sound system has an intensity of at least 90dBA or higher.

– There are changing areas and toilets.

– Lighting for competition should be at least 200 lux or more.

– Costumes must not be made of transparent materials or colors and must cover sensitive areas of the performer’s body.

3. Conditions for dance sport business on professional staff

Sports training instructors must meet one of the following conditions:

– Being a coach or athlete with a level of level 2 or higher or equivalent in accordance with the dance sport business registration;

– Having a degree in sports from intermediate level or higher suitable for the dance sport business registration.

4. Conditions dance sport business on training density

– Training density on the floor is guaranteed to be at least 02m2/person.

– Each training instructor has no more than 35 people/1 training session.
