Land is a resource, a special type of property owned by the entire citizen, represented by the state as the owner’s representative and has a special relationship with national defense and security issues. Therefore, the management of land use is carried out quite strictly. In some cases, land use rights are limited for a certain period of time as prescribed by law. At the end of this time limit, organizations and individuals that wish to carry out procedures of extension of land use shall continue to have the right to use and exploit their legitimate interests.
1. Implementation process for extension of land use
– Persons with demand submits an application for extension of land use term;
– The receiving agency shall receive the dossier, check the validity and transfer it to the competent agency for handling; handle appraisal of dossiers, identify related issues and guide applicants to continue carrying out procedures. Make a request to supplement or amend the profile (if any).
– Persons with demand submits the issued certificates and documents of having fulfilled their financial obligations in the case of land use extension to the competent authority.
– The competent authority confirms the extension of land use in the issued Certificate; issue the Certificate to the grantee or the competent authority. In case of ineligibility for extension of land use term, the competent authority shall notify the land user and carry out procedures for land recovery as prescribed.
2. Dossier for extension of land use
– An application for registration of changes in land and land-attached assets, made according to the prescribed form;
– Certificate of land use rights, ownership of houses and properties attached to land.
– Proof of fulfillment of financial obligations (if any).
– Other relevant documents and records.
3. Implementation agencies
Provincial land use right registration office.

4. Implementation time
No more than 07 days from the date of receiving the valid dossier.
5. Result
– The certificate with change confirmation.
– Information is recorded in the cadastral book and made a dossier for the State to manage.
